Certain hormonal medications can increase the risk of blood clots and other complications. Consult with your primary care physician or gynecologist about alternative contraceptive methods that are safe to use during this period.

The use of recreational drugs, amphetamines, and Adderall can interfere with the anesthesia and medications used during your procedure. It is essential to refrain from using these substances for at least six weeks prior to your surgery.

ARRIVE TWO DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR SURGERY DATE

  • To ensure the best possible care for our patients we have created a PreOp appointment policy. Please note that our PreOp appointments are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It is vital that you arrive two (2) days prior to your surgery date and within this allocated time. This schedule allows our medical team to thoroughly evaluate your health, and adequately prepare you for your upcoming surgery.

  • Arriving 2 to 3 days in advance allows you enough time to complete any necessary medical evaluations, consultations, and preoperative preparations. This also gives you a chance to settle in, familiarize yourself with the area, and reduce any potential travel-related stress before the surgery day.

  • It is mandatory for you to arrive at our facility two days prior to your scheduled surgery date.

  •   Failure to arrive within this specified timeframe may result in the rescheduling or cancellation of your surgery, without any possibility of a refund.

DIET AND EXERCISE PRIOR TO YOU COSMETIC PROCEDURE

As your cosmetic procedure approaches, we want to emphasize the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle that includes a balanced diet and regular exercise. This lifestyle change is crucial in preparing your body for the surgery and maximizing the desired outcomes. Allow us to explain why this is so significant:

Preventing Weight Gain: By maintaining a healthy weight prior to your procedure, you can reduce the risk of complications during and after surgery. Excess weight can put additional stress on your body, affecting the healing process and potentially impacting the final results.

Balanced Diet: Focus on consuming a variety of nutrient-rich foods: including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. Avoid excessive consumption of processed foods, sugary snacks, and beverages.

Portion Control: Be mindful of portion sizes to avoid overeating. Consider consulting with a nutritionist or dietician for personalized guidance.

Hydration: Stay adequately hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Limit the consumption of sugary drinks and alcohol.

Motivation for Post-Procedure Exercise: By starting a fitness routine before your surgery, you will be more motivated to continue exercising once you have recovered. Regular physical activity after your procedure can help maintain and enhance the results achieved through surgery.

Regular Exercise: Engage in physical activities that you enjoy and are suitable for your fitness level. Aim for a combination of cardiovascular exercises (such as walking, swimming, or cycling) and strength training exercises (such as weightlifting or yoga) to promote overall fitness and muscle tone.

Overall Health and Well-being: A healthy lifestyle consisting of a nutritious diet and regular exercise has numerous benefits beyond just preparing for your cosmetic procedure. It improves cardiovascular health, boosts immune function, enhances mood, and increases overall well-being.

We strongly encourage you to incorporate the following strategies into your lifestyle before your surgery:

Remember: adopting a healthy lifestyle is a long-term commitment that can benefit you beyond your cosmetic procedure. It sets the foundation for a healthier future and helps you maintain the results you achieve.

If you have any questions or need further guidance regarding diet and exercise, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team. We are here to support you in your journey toward a successful cosmetic procedure and a healthier lifestyle.
