8 HOURS BEFORE YOUR SURGERY

We are excited to assist you with your upcoming surgery at Bravo Plastic Surgery. As your surgery date and time draw near, we would like to provide you with important PreOp instructions to ensure a successful procedure. Please carefully review the following guidelines and make the necessary preparations.

Fasting:
Ple
ase adhere to the fasting instructions provided by our medical team. Typically, you will be required to refrain from eating or drinking anything (including water) eight (8) hours before your surgery. This is essential to prevent potential complications during anesthesia. Please ensure you have followed these instructions and have not consumed anything within the instructed timeframe.

Medications:

a. Follow your surgeon's instructions regarding any medication you are currently taking. It is important to inform us about all the medications, including over-the-counter drugs, supplements, and herbal remedies, that you are currently using.

b. Avoid taking any blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, unless specifically instructed by your surgeon.

Personal Hygiene:

a. Shower or bathe using hibiclense or any antibacterial soap on the morning of your surgery. This helps reduce the risk of infection.

b. Do not apply any lotions, creams, deodorants, or perfumes after your shower.

Clothing and Personal Items:

a. Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of surgery. Avoid garments that need to be pulled over the head, as they may disrupt surgical dressings.

b. Remove all jewelry, piercings, and valuables before coming to the clinic. We recommend leaving them at home to prevent loss or damage. Leave all valuables, including wallets, purses, and electronics, at home or with a trusted companion.

Bring a case or container for your contact lenses, if necessary.

Transportation:

Arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you to the surgery facility and drive you back home afterwards.

Ensure that your designated companion remains available at the facility throughout the duration of your surgery.

Do's and Don'ts:
a. Follow any specific instructions provided by your surgeon regarding skincare and makeup before the surgery.

b. Do not consume any food, drinks, or gum after the instructed fasting period.

c. Do not wear any makeup, nail polish, or contact lenses to the clinic on the day of surgery.

Please note that failure to comply with these instructions may result in the rescheduling or cancellation of your surgery. Your safety and well-being are our utmost priority, and adhering to these guidelines plays a vital role in ensuring a successful surgery and a smooth recovery.
